Wild Horizons have announced that they have begun the process of phasing out single use plastic bottles for their transfers and activities in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
This initiative was inspired by the success of replacing all plastic bottles in their lodges with reusable glass bottles. Each guest was given a glass bottle and encouraged to take it with on their travels, to prevent unnecessary plastic usage. They are now aiming to replace all plastic bottles provided during transfers and activities with sealed glass bottles, that can be recycled and refilled.
