It has been announced that there will a brand new Grand Prix circuit constructed in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
The construction of the circuit will be funded by a company called Feonirich, which is based in Dubai. The ground breaking ceremony was held on the weekend and was attended by Feonirich representatives, and overseen by Constantino Chiwenga, the Vice President of Zimbabwe. It has been reported that Feonirich have allocated $1,2 billion to developing the town into a more competitive tourist destination. Besides the Grand Prix circuit, the funds will also cover the construction of a shopping center, a medical center and a convention center.
