Three Part Botswana Product Update

A number of properties in Botswana have undergone changes in ownership or management. Here is a summary of some recent exciting announcements.


Royal Tree Lodge, Maun
  • Royal Tree Lodge, near Maun, is now a part of Natural Selection.

Royal Tree Lodge is an idyllic place, set amongst ancient riverside forests and conveniently close to Maun, the gateway to the Okavango Delta. The main area, 10 luxury tented suites & 2 air-conditioned honeymoon suites will also get a makeover. Natural Selection will add a private villa, perfect for small groups & families. The lodge's location, only a stone’s throw from Maun airport, makes it the perfect location for travellers getting Covid-19 PCR tests done.


Chobe Marina Lodge, Kasane
  • Chobe Marina Lodge, in Kasane, has engaged An African Anthology as their sales, marketing, and reservations representative.

Chobe Marina Lodge is on the banks of the Chobe River, in Kasane town, which serves as the gateway to Chobe National Park. It is just 15 minutes from Kasane International Airport. The rooms and common areas of the lodge have just undergone a soft refurbishment. A floating restaurant, a boma area, and a fire pit have also been added. Game drives or boat cruises into Chobe National Park are available, as well as spa treatments, fishing, golf, and relaxing by the lovely pool.


Nxamaseri Island Lodge, Okavango
  • Desert & Delta Safaris have bought Nxamaseri Island Lodge, in the Okavango Panhandle.

Desert & Delta Safaris, based in Botswana, has acquired Nxamaseri Island Lodge. The lodge is in the Okavango Delta’s panhandle near Shakawe. It is ideally positioned for visits to the ancient rock art found at Tsodilo Hills and from which to try catch and release fishing in the tranquil waterways of the Okavango Panhandle. Nxamaseri Island Lodge adds to Desert & Delta's extensive inventory of Botswana destinations. The lodge offers 8 suites, nestled beneath massive Jackalberry trees and wild date palms. Activities include mokoro and boating activities, guided island walks and birdwatching.
