The rebuild at Mombo and Little Mombo Camp is complete

The Okavango Delta has received a fresh makeover with Mombo and Little Mombo reopening after being rebuilt.

Each tented suite has now got its own entrance, sitting room (with a bar), separate bedroom and bathroom areas (that include a dressing area), indoor and outdoor showers, double vanity and a separate toilet.

And that is not all.

The decks have private plunge pools and swing beds that overlook the beauty of the Delta. New central fireplaces have been introduced at both camps, and Mombo has added a lap pool. In addition, innovative ideas have been implemented to allow for natural temperature regulation - making your stay more comfortable. Some of these ideas include a shaded veranda in front of the rooms and insulated roof designs.

The buildings are not the only update to the camps. A new Executive Chef has been introduced to the Mombo kitchen. Johan van Schalkwyk brings with him his 25 years' experience in the hospitality industry, promising to include more traditional Botswanan fare into the menu. You can also expect interactive cooking meals and lessons.
