Zimparks has begun with the introduction of lions to the Chinhoyi Caves area.
Two lions have recently been relocated to the area, and will soon be followed by another two. The purpose of introducing lions to this popular tourist destination is to increase tourist interest in the wildlife aspect of the area, as the caves are already very popular and well known. This is expected to enhance the tourist experience as guests can now enjoy scenic game viewing as well.
