Exciting new flights link Victoria Falls to Hwange and Kruger

An inexpensive daily seat-rate air service between Victoria Falls and the Hwange area will begin in April 2022, while three weekly flights from Victoria Falls to Kruger National Park will begin in March 2022. These exciting links will make combining these safari hotspots with Victoria Falls far easier, particularly for travellers on a tight timeline.

Victoria Falls is known as one of the seven greatest natural wonders of the world while Hwange National Park is Zimbabwe’s largest national park and offers phenomenal game viewing. The two will now enjoy an easy flight option. An inexpensive daily seat-rate air service between Victoria Falls and the Hwange area will begin in April 2022.


This exciting link will make Hwange much more accessible for travellers on a tight timeline. Starting in December 2021, CATS will base its 12-passenger Cessna Grand Caravan in Victoria Falls. From April 2022, they will add a Cessna 206 and a Beechcraft Baron (carrying 4 people each). These additional aircraft will help accommodate the high safari season and allow for private and seat-rate charter flights to Kariba, Mana Pools, Harare, and other regional destinations.


In addition, Fastjet, a local carrier, has scheduled three weekly flights from Victoria Falls to South Africa's Kruger National Park via Mbombela, beginning March 16, 2022. The world-renowned Kruger National Park offers a wildlife experience that ranks with the best in Africa. Mbombela, formerly Nelspruit, is the gateway to Kruger National Park. These flights are expected to increase to daily from July 2022. The 2-hour flights leave Vic Falls at 10.30 a.m. on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and depart Nelspruit at 12.45 a.m.
