Belmond Savute Elephant Lodge in Chobe National Park, has recently opened after undergoing a refurbishment of the guest rooms and public areas.
The lodge consists of 12 tented rooms, which have been redesigned and redecorated with luxurious finishes. Each rooms has a large four-poster bed, air con, an ensuite bathroom and a private deck which offers breathtaking views of the Savute Channel.
The lodge also boasts a fantastic new hide for wildlife viewing, which overlooks a waterhole, a brand new luxurious spa and newly built fire pit.
It has been revealed that the refurb cost approximately US$6.5m.
