The new online electronic visa system will be progressively introduced once the ongoing trial is successfully complete. The system aims to increase tourism, simplifying the process for foreign visitors to gain a visa to travel to South Africa.

The progress is positive, however South African authorities are cautious to launch under the current Covid19 global travel restrictions. We are optimistic that this development will nevertheless allow for a smoother travel process for future travellers into our beautiful region.
